THE C WORD // EPISODE 82
SHOULD DESIGNERS DO BRAND STRATEGY?
Should designers do brand strategy?
Controversial opinion. You have no business designing brands of any sort, if there isn’t a strategic element to what you do.
Brand strategy is not just for the serious people, the people who can write confidently on a white board or the ‘strategists’.

I don’t think all designers should do brand strategy, but for brand designers it’s a non-negotiable. Moreover it’s a huge opportunity.
In this episode share why brand strategy should be top of your list when it comes to investing in your designer business. Well before a new Mac or social media marketing up-skill.
So should designers do brand strategy? In short, it’s a hard yes from me!
